Since Lincoln College has been housing students since 1427 (well, that's when it was founded; I am not sure if students lived on campus then, or not), the dorm rooms vary a great deal in size and style. Some have marble fireplaces, a few have pianos, and some, including mine, have rooftop access. My dorm is rather small and dated but oh so cozy. The bathroom is not too unlike the bathroom of our old pop-up camper (the shower floor is the bathroom floor, ya know?) but it is my very first bathroom all to myself, just mine. So that, in itself, is a major luxury. Brenna is my only neighbor, just across the hall, and the chaplain resides on the floor below us down the old, windy staircase. Lucky, we are above the common room, so we always know if something fun is going on. No air-conditioning; not necessary. However, there are three fantastic windows: two with views inward on the courtyard and one outward to a small, bustling pedestrian street.
